In our final film, Owen Wilson plays Gil Pender, a screenwriter struggling to find inspiration for his first novel. While vacationing in Paris with his wife and her family, Gil becomes nostalgic for the Jazz Age, café society, and the city’s role as inspiration for artistic and literary masterpieces. Each night, as he goes on a midnight walk, Gil is transported to the Paris he fantasizes about, meeting a familiar cast of characters (including Ernest Hemingway and Salvador Dalí) along the way.
